Classical Music Concert / Zagreb Quartet

The Zagreb Quartet, with a legacy spanning over a century, will present a diverse program featuring masterpieces from the classical repertoire. Their performance will include works by celebrated composers such as Haydn, Beethoven, and Mozart, as well as pieces by prominent Croatian composers, showcasing the quartet’s versatility and deep connection to their musical heritage.

Founded as the first permanent and proffesional ensemble of its kind on Croatian musical scene, Zagreb Quartet held their first concert on April 25th 1919. Members at the time were Václav Huml, first violine, Milan Graf, second violine, Ladislav Škatula (later Miranov), viola and Umberto Fabbri, cello – all of them professors at Zagreb conservatory.
